The Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre in Guildford will use a £450 donation from Guildford Lions Club to fund a specialist chair for their clients.
Guildford Lions Club President Deric Quaile said, “In recognition of the vital work RASASC do supporting the victims of sexual violence throughout Surrey we are very pleased to be able to assist them in this way”.
RASASC Operations Director, Lesley Devonport said, ““We are delighted that the Lions Club of Guildford have chosen to support our charity. This support will not only enable us to improve facilities for the survivors who use our service but it also demonstrates a strong commitment by this group to challenge rape and sexual abuse within our shared community”
