A great evening put on by Guildford Lions at Hatchlands Park. This year the event was to help the Guildford Shakespeare Company and the Charlie’s Promise charity which campaigns against knife crime in schools. Entertainment was provided by Andy Hart and his singers who entertained with songs from Les Miserables illustrated by acted extracts by the Guildford Shakespeare Company.
Mission Impossible blues band got everyone feet tapping and most of us out of our chairs and onto the dance “floor”. The evening raised between £4,000 and £4,500 for the causes.
