Following the duck races run by the Surrey Care Trust our Raft Race this year took place in lovey sunshine and was started at 3pm by the Mayor of Guildford Councillor Masuk Miah. We had 19 rafts and 7 paddleboards this year and a great crowd of spectators. Rafters and spectators alike enjoyed a sumptuos BBQ at the Stoughton Waterside centre where the winners were presnted with their trophies:
- Champion Youth Raft :- 1st Rydes Hill ( St. Mary’s ) Scouts
- Champion General Raft :- Headway Surrey 1
- Champion Super Raft :- Hooks Wet Dream – Cranleigh Lions Club ( Les Holdaway )
- Best Presented Raft :- Jubileaky – Jubilee Social Club
- Best Presented Junior Raft : – Waterskater – 1st Shalford Guides
- Sustainability Award Judged and awarded by ZERO CARBON Guildford :- 1st Stoughton Explorer Scouts
- Champion Paddleboarder : – Basil Bahrani
