On Friday 13 December we enjoyed our annual Christmas dinner. It took place at the Daisy Chain restaurant in the Wey Valley Indoor Bowls Club, a favourite of the Ljons club members. With our partners and guests we numbered over 40 and a good time was had by all. We were served with traditional Christmas fare, including blazing Christmas puds, in addition to an excellent choice of alternative puddings. Each table carved its own turkey crown and this year’s carvers are pictured. Our thanks to Bob and Barbara Hackman for their hard work making it all happen, and to Nicky and her Daisy Chain team for producing such an excellent feast!
