On Saturday 10 February 2024 the Guildford Lions club hosted their annual party for some of our senior citizens in Shalford Village Hall. We had guests from four local homes and 11 Guildford & Godalming clubs. In total
we fed and entertained 106 Guests. Our eldest guest was 101 year old Queenie. We were entertained by ex ACM singer Jack Mason, and the evergreen entertainer Billy Clayton from Mack Entertainment.
Nicki from the Daisy Chain cafe at Guildford’s Wey Valley Indoor Bowling Club catered for the event including particularly delicious cakes.
The Thursday Club had a wonderful afternoon at Shalford organised by The Lions. Please would you be kind enough to pass our thanks to everyone concerns for all the lovely food and tremendous entertainment.
