Christmas collections 2023
Once again we will be doing our Christmas collections at supermarkets this year. The money collected will be used to help to families in need in our borough. Last year you donated over £3,500 which we used to buy gift cards for over 300 people and families across Guildford.
We will be collecting at supermarkets at;
* Tesco Store Ashenden Road on Friday 8 December
* Waitrose, York Road on Saturday 9 Decembers
* Sainsbury’s Store in Burpham on Friday 15 December and Saturday 16 December.
We are hoping that Santa will visit us at Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s stores at 3.30pm.
Santa will be touring the streets as follows:
Weds 20th starting about 5pm
Burnet Ave, Charlock Way, Coltsfoot Drive, then from about 6pm, Glendale Drive, Great Oaks Park, Gosden Hill Rd
Thurs 21st from about 5pm – Holford Rd, Elles Ave, Caroll Ave, Daryngton Drive. then from about 6pm – Boxgrove Lane, Collingwood Crescent, Boxgrove Shops area
Last year the good people of Guildford donated over £800 to our street collections which went to help people in need within our local community!
It would be great to have a few more elves this year to help Santa with the street collections, so encourage anyone who would like to help to please get in touch!
