When we first realised that the impact of the pandemic meant we needed to move away from our tried and tested format it was undoubtedly a huge step into the unknown and to say we were on a steep learning curve is an understatement. The journey was eventful and challenging but ultimately extremely rewarding.
We are delighted to confirm the evening was a major success raising slightly in excess of £40,000 which is a Guildford Lions Club record for a single fundraising event and every penny of this amount will be used to help those in need in our community over the coming months.
The brilliant support provided by RADical Systems (UK) Ltd, Chapters Financial Ltd, Guildford Borough Council, HSBC UK, Boileroom and all the wonderful volunteers who came out and helped us on the night cannot be overstated as without that support we would not have been able to stage the event and now be in this position to help our community
